We had to be in this particular area for a function. The Hampton Inn met our needs. Check-in was quick, and the desk workers were friendly and efficient. The room was extremely clean, had lots of towels, with attached shampoo, conditioner, and lotion dispensers. The beds were comfortable with four pillows each. My only complaint was the air conditioner. It was the old type that cycles off and on and is very disturbing. That is my only complaint. There were many restaurants in the area, and I would recommend this hotel to any travelers to Clayton, NC.

Originally booked a king, but after thinking how my husband and I dont sleep well away, I asked if they had a room with 2 queens available. The ladies at the front desk went out of their way to change it. I told them it really wasn't that big of a deal. 10 min later we had 2 beds. The room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again. It was a busy weekend and never heard a peep outside the room.
